Kirstin recently moved to Denver and joined Progressive Future as the newest member of the Development team. Mia has a diverse background in organizing and fundraising.  She began her progressive career as a student at the University of Wisconsin, when she came across a set of students working on a campaign against political corruption and felt compelled to get involved. Kathy became active in politics after registering voters and campaigning in the 2004 presidential elections. Before coming to Progressive Future, she did policy work and lobbying for a nonprofit in the health care sector. Shelley Schreiner is an Internet Organizer for Progressive Future. By talking to as many people as possible through email, blogs, Facebook and MySpace, she hopes to slowly but surely take over the internet. Kate Drazner, Online Campaign Organizer

Kate joins Progressive Future with experience working on a number of progressive issues. During her undergraduate experience at Colorado College, she majored in International Relations and minored in Vocal Performance. She was also a writer and cartoonist for the alternative magazine, organized for genocide intervention in Darfur, and participated in voter advocacy campaigning. She also lived in the Peruvian Amazon for a summer, building a women's health training center for indigenous communities with the Peruvian nonprofit, MingaPeru.  . . . read more
