Tell bank CEOs: Stop sticking it to customers!

It seemed impossible for CEOs of bailed out banks to make a more outrageous decision than to spend the billions in tax dollars provided to them in TARP funds to hand out giant bonuses and pay for extravagant trips and events. But they have done it -- by increasing fees and interest rates even more for their customers.

Instead of taking reponsibility for themselves and their actions, they are passing the burden on to regular Americans who are already struggling in this economic crisis.

Tell Ken Lewis of Bank of America, Vakram Pandit of Citibank, and Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan and Chase to stop sticking their customers with the responsibility for their mistakes.

Petition Text:

It is reprihensible that you are choosing to gouge Americans who are struggling in this economic crisis with outrageous interest rates and fees instead of taking responsibility for your bad investments and using your bailout money for its intended purpose -- to stimulate the economy.  Stop sticking your customers with the burden of your mistakes.
