A new New York Times/CBS News poll shows that 65%--just shy of 2/3--of Americans support a public health insurance option, while just 26% oppose it.
So, the president supports a public option, four out of five congressional committees have included one, and the public supports it by a greater than 3-to-1 ratio.
What, exactly, is the problem here?
Oh, it's those pesky insurance companies spending millions lobbying in Washington and filling our representatives' reelection coffers.
Good thing the Supreme Court wants to allow more corporate money in politics.
