The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports on a "rising tide of negative mental health consequences . . . among those struggling with job loss, home foreclosure, rising food and gas prices, and declining wages." A few people, on the brink of losing their homes, have even committed suicide.
To top it all off, of course, millions can't afford basic health care, much less mental health care.
There's no simple cure for depression, just as there's no simple cure for the mess we find in our economy.
