Progressive Future Education Fund

The Progressive Future Education Fund is a national non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that promotes progressive values through independent research, practical ideas, effective educational campaigns and grassroots outreach. The Education Fund advocates for core progressive principles such as community, fairness, security and liberty and conducts research, education, and organizing around critical issues such as economic fairness and security, health care, global security and educational reform.

 

Current Projects

Community Voters Project

The 2008 Community Voters Project, a large-scale, non-partisan voter registration effort, registered over 300,000 African American and Latino voters in ten states -- Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

Progress Florida Education Fund

Progress Florida Education Fund is a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that promotes progressive solutions for Florida through independent research, public education and the use of new media and internet outreach campaigns. Progress Florida Education Fund’s primary issues of concern include economic fairness, social justice, health care reform, environmental protection, ensuring great public schools and more.

Progressive Book Club

We've partnered with Progressive Book Club, a new online book club where you can get recommendations and reviews from organizations like Progressive Future, MoveOn, Daily Kos and more.

Staff and Board Member Profile

Board Member Ayodele Carroo — Ayodele graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1999 and Harvard Law School in 2002. She joined the Progressive Future Education Fund board in December, 2009.
