Change We Can Deliver
Can you volunteer an hour between now and Election Day? An afternoon? Work all day on Election Day? Or are you ready to join us for our all-out push the last four days of the campaign?
If so, then click on our "96 Hours For Change" button on the right and take a minute to sign up and volunteer to help get out the vote.
After a long fight, Barack Obama and Joe Biden are ahead in the polls. Given the problems our nation faces, given the clear choice the candidates offer us, some might think that this election is wrapped up. But as the hours tick down to Election Day, the McCain-Palin campaign and their allies on the right are rolling our every smear they have left and trying to work the words "terrorist" and "socialist" into every campaign speech.
How can we at Progressive Future fight back? For the last few months we've been talking to thousands of undecided voters in key swing states to help them
see past the smears and refocus on what really matters: how Barack
Obama is the right choice on the economy, health care, energy and
ending the war in Iraq.
(For more on the case we're making to undecided voters, click here.)
And now, with the minutes to Election Day ticking down, we're ready to get out the vote.
96 Hours For Change
Right now, Progressive Future volunteers are gearing up for a final all out push to turn out the vote in key swing states across the country. We're calling our operation "96 Hours For Change - Progressive Future's Obamathon." 96 Hours For Change is an independent, all-out effort starting on November 1 and running right up until the polls close on November 4.
Can you help? There's plenty to do and a role for everybody. You can get started by clicking the button at the right and going to our 96 Hours For Change sign up page where you can tell us where and when you can volunteer and what you want to do. The whole process should take about a minute and then one of our organizers will be in touch with you.
