Stop Global Warming!

The oil and gas industry continually claims to be environmentally conscious, yet pours millions of dollars into lobbying against measures that would reduce global warming in the U.S. If they are so evironmentally conscious, tell them to prove it! You have consistently stated that your industry is environmentally conscious. Prove it. Stop obstructing measures in Congress that reduce US emissions. Order your lobbyists to stop working against global warming legislation. Support legislation that includes:

CAFE standards of 35 miles per gallon for every car and truck in the United States

Tax breaks for renewable energy such as solar power

A commitment for the US government to support renewable energy using its own purchasing power
