Invest in US
America is going to have new leadership next year. I want to make sure our leaders also choose a new direction on the critical issues facing our nation. That's why I support the Invest in US call to:
* Bring the troops home: We want a responsible plan and a reasonable timeline, with real accountability and no more blank checks for the war in Iraq.
* Promote health care for all: We want strong action now to help bring quality, affordable health care to every American.
* Invest in renewable energy and build a green economy: We want nothing short of a new energy revolution, with significant renewable energy investments to break America's dependence on oil and create millions of new jobs.
* Provide a better education for our kids: We want world-class public schools for America's children, so every child has the opportunity to live a rich and productive life.
* Honor our troops: Last, but not least, we want to honor our troops by providing them with the education, health care and opportunities they've earned by their sacrifice.
