We’ve started a grassroots progressive organization to take our
country in a new direction—and we need talented and dedicated
individuals to develop and implement our policy and advocacy programs.
Progressive Future tackles core progressive issues such as health care,
education, global warming, and the war in Iraq. We’ll work to make
sure these issues are addressed by our elected officials, and we will
hold them accountable while they are in office.
Progressive Future seeks an experienced and passionate Program Advocate
to work for progressive change across the country. The Advocate will
develop programs around key progressive issues, and implement a variety
of campaign strategies to turn these solutions into reality.
Job Responsibilities will include:
• Gaining expertise on one or more of our top priority issues and developing programs around those issues
• Building strong coalitions with likeminded groups and individuals
• Working with local and national media to ensure that our message is heard
• Developing campaign materials and web content
• Fundraising through grants and large donors

work in policy, grassroots organizing, or government settings.
Candidate must be well-organized, a self-starter, flexible, creative,
