Training Coordinator

We’ve started a new progressive organization to take our country in a new direction—and we need an energetic, detail-oriented training coordinator to ensure that our new staff get the tools they need to succeed.

Progressive Future will tackle core progressive issues such as health care, education, global warming, and the war in Iraq.  We’ll work to make sure these issues are addressed by our elected officials, and we will hold them accountable while they are in office.

Progressive Future is hiring dozens of new staff across the country each week. Those new activists will all need to be trained in the tools and strategies to run successful issue campaigns and build the progressive movement in America. Our training coordinator will play an essential role in building our organization and setting our staff up for success.

Job Responsibilities will include:
•    Working with senior staff to schedule and plan training events across the country
•    Handling all logistics for training events, including securing meeting space and lodging for trainers and new hires, coordinating travel and planning for meals.
•    Coordinating with trainers to provide needed materials
•    Communicating with new hires regarding schedules, travel plans, expectations, etc.
•    Frequent travel to training events to provide on-site assistance
