When 80% of Americans would rather see our government invest in renewable energy than drill for more oil, you have to ask yourself...Why are we still having this argument? Isn't it pretty obvious that the American people want renewable energy before they want more drilling?Well, energy is a complicated issue, but here's one answer for you: follow the money. In the midst of energy bills and public pressure, how are oil companies spending their billions of dollars in profits? Lobbying.

We may not have millions to spend on lobbying, but here's what we do have -- a collective voice with which we can say, "We want clean energy first!" Join with other progressive citizens in speaking up and calling for clean energy solutions before drilling.
