KBR at it again - 2008-08-28

We've told you many times over about the outrageous abuses of KBR -- you can read about it here, here and here. It seems they're at it again, and just when you thought they couldn't get worse, they did.

According to the Washington Post, a lawsuit alleges that KBR engineered a human trafficking scheme in which 13 Nepalese men were told they would be working as hotel and kitchen workers in Jordan. Instead, their passports were taken away and they were sent to a military facility in Iraq. On the way, 12 of the 13 men were kidnapped and later executed.

It's easy to see the motivation of a company when making a questionable business decision -- the almighty bottom line. But the consistent disgusting behavior of KBR seems to reveal a complete disrespect and disregard of their fellow humans. It's time to put a stop to this. Call for consequences here.
